Women Entrepreneurs Development Council (WEDC) has been putting efforts for the empowerment of Women Entrepreneurs from the Manufacturing, Service Industry, infrastructure, IT, ICT, education, Health Care, Pharmaceutical, exports, entertainment, media, sports, members of family-owned businesses, consulting & Professional Services, automotive, engineering, textiles, garments, food processing, hospitality, tourism, logistics, supply chain, chemicals, metal, plastics, glass, packaging, paper, knowledge based industries and other businesses & industrial fields. The Council organises various business activities for the enhancement of knowledge and skill of women entrepreneurs, supporting them for identifying emerging business opportunities in India and abroad, connectivity with the strategic partners for joint ventures, technology transfers, contract manufacturing, franchise, collaboration, distribution, supply chain management, developing quality productivity and strengthening them to become self-reliant and for global competitiveness.
